      Soft pinks form the grounding field, interrupted by expressive passages of charcoal grey, ivory, muted yellow and delicate blue. Individual marbled sections are thoughtfully arranged and hand-knotted to create a layered construction giving the artwork depth and character. Each fragment carries its own fluid Suminagashi marks, creating a contrast between the organic movement of the marbling and the precise geometry of the composition.
